Happy New Year from The Bad Guy

And what a year 2005 has been.
We really did set the world aflame 2 years after 2003.
Bostonist.com has just rated The BC as the best Webcast of 2005, with "superior entertainment, production value, and Boston content. If you download anything from the web this year this has to be it."
Way to go.

Woody just told me that he's banging his head against the wall with episode 4. I don't think we should start worrying about his head or the script yet. We will of course be back in 2006 with new episodes, new characters, more Wednesday weekly fixes, more creative insanity from Joe and Woody, more celebrity appearances and of course, more puns.

Father Don was very busy with puns over the last week as he and members of the BC Screaming Eagles Marching Band went to Boise to see the MPC Computers Bowl. (As one of the lucky Sousaphone players, I was also there.)
Boise was certainly an interesting experience, the people were very friendly, even if the weather wasn't, and I left news of our website with several members of Boise State's Marching band.

Father Don was invited back to a festival in honor of St. Ignatius that Boise has every year. Boise was settled by Basque shepherds (Ignatius was Basque) in...anyone want to guess when?
1863.
I saw this on a hat in the airport and immediately showed Fr. Don. He began singing, "1863, a bunch of Basque shepherds," then gave up, and said, "I wonder if Joe would run with it."
He probably would, Padre. He probably would.

Anyway, a very happy New Year to all our readers and viewers, may 2006 be as good for you as 2005 was for us.
